Aberdeen Airport also offers an internationally recognized heliport with three helipads and one the UK's busiest commercial heliport.
Aberdeen Airport started life in 1934 and was eventually handed over to BAA in 1975 and has grown ever since with on-going investment to provide comprehensive passenger facilities and is the leading heliport for the North Sea Oil workers.
Aberdeen Business facilities include a full range of services these include Airport Lounges, Business Center, and Business Meeting Rooms, also with Fixed and or Wireless Internet Access. By Car – The Airport is signposted to the airport from the A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road. The airport is 7 miles North West of Aberdeen city centre on the A947 at Dyce. There is a large car park in front of the terminal building for short and long stay parking. You can drop off passengers outside the terminal building, but if you want to visit the terminal building you should use the car park.
