Mid Stay [London Stansted]

Mid Stay is the closest long term parking facility to Stansted airport with space for 5000 cars. Mid Stay offers an excellent service that runs all year round with a superb free transfer service provided for your convenience.

Arrival Procedures TIP enter your Registration Number on-line
When you arrive at the Mid Stay Car Park at Stansted Drive up to the entry barrier where your car registration number will be read and recognized automatically. A ticket will be printed showing your registration and the barrier will lift, take the ticket and proceed to park your car and obtain a transfer to the airport. Please note that if you have not entered your vehicle registration when you book online this will prolong the time spent for your car park check in. If you experience any difficulties on arrival, please press the call button for assistance. It may help if you have your booking confirmation to hand.

Departure Procedures
When you return from your trip take the free courtesy bus from the Terminal to the parking area, drive your vehicle up to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket that was issued on entry to the car park and the barrier will open and you may proceed out of the car park. Should the need arise; please present your booking confirmation and entry ticket to a parking attendant who will assist in your exit. If you experience any difficulties, please press the call button for assistance.

Transfers

Free Transfer operates 24 hours, every 5-10 minutes to and from the terminal taking only 4-5 minutes.

How to Get There

Stansted Airport is easily accessed from the M11 motorway leaving at junction 8 and then the taking A120. The M11 can be taken directly from the north east or via the M25 from the south and west. Stansted Mid Stay Car Park is well signposted as you approach the Airport simply follow the signs.

Security

Full CCTV coverage on entry and inside the car park, and 24 hour patrols. This car park has been awarded the Park Mark for safer parking. The Park Mark means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. Park Mark awarded parking areas are run by responsible operators who are concerned with your safety and the safety of your vehicle.

Disabled Facilities
Disabled toilets, parking bays and low floor buses are on site.

General Information
Parking is at Mid Stay. Please note that parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours from the time you arrive at the car park until the time you depart. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extras on departure at the car park’s standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate.

Insurance
Mid Stay Car Park offers free cover for damage resulting from any act or omission on the part of its servants or agents. Parking is at vehicle owner’s own risk.
