Security Measures
Cardiff Airparks is a fenced and floodlit site, with 24 hour patrols and CCTV in operation. They are also holders of the Park Mark Award from the Association of Chief Police Officers and the ISO 9001 standard of quality assurance.
Arrival Procedures
On arrival, you should report to the Days Inn Hotel reception to check-in. You will then be directed to park your car in the arrivals area at the rear of the hotel. Present your printed confirmation or quote your booking reference and then hand in your car keys. Your car will be parked for you whilst you board the transfer bus to the terminal. Your car will be checked by our staff and timed digital photographs will be taken of any marks or damage.
Departure Procedures
On return, simply wait where you were dropped off and our 20 minute bus service will transfer you back to the car park.
Directions
Exit the M4 at Junction 33. Follow A4232 signposted Barry/Airport. Take the 1st exit off A4232 signposted Barry/Cardiff Airport A4050/A48 Cardiff Centre. At A48 junction roundabout take 3rd exit signposted A4050 Barry/Airport. For the next 6 roundabouts follow A4050 Barry/Airport. At the 7th roundabout take 2nd exit, again signposted for Barry/Airport A4050. Take 2nd exit at the 8th roundabout. At the 9th roundabout adjacent to the Petrol station take 2nd exit. When you reach the 10th roundabout take 1st exit signposted Cardiff Airport. The entrance to Airparks & Cardiff Days Inn is approximately 200m on the right hand side. The postcode for satellite navigation systems is CF62 3BT.
Transfers
Transfers operate 24 hours. You should normally allow 30 minutes to check in and transfer to the airport. During the morning and afternoon busy periods you should allow more time to compensate for traffic delays. Please note that between the hours of 02:30 and 03:00 there will be a break in the transfer service. The next bus will run at 03:00 hrs.
Information
Airparks are unable to carry bikes, surfboards, canoes or other large objects which do not fit onto luggage racks on their buses. If you are bringing large items with you we suggest you drop them off at the airport before parking your car. Remember to check beforehand that your airline will accept them for carriage. Please note that this is parking at Airparks serving Cardiff Airport, not the on-site parking at the airport. During the period of May - October your car may be moved to another secured site close by, owned and operated by Airparks. SPECIAL OFFER: On arrival at Airparks you can take advantage of a superb new Express service. This is where your car is delivered back to the airport terminal on your return from holiday. The Express service is subject to availability and an additional fee is payable direct to the car park on arrival. If your car is parked for longer than the time booked, you can be charged for any additional time on departure. This is charged at the car park's standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays.
