Security Measures
Airparks Cardiff is a fully secured and floodlit site with 24 hour patrols and CCTV in operation. Airparks have been awarded the Park Mark Award for safer parking from the Association of Chief Police Officers. This means that you are parking in an area that has been vetted by the police to make sure that the site has had measures put in place to create a safe environment. With an ideal location situated on the approach road to Cardiff airport, parking at Airparks is convenient and stress-free. Regular transfers will transfer you directly to the airport within minutes.
Arrival Procedures
On arrival, you should report to the Days Inn Hotel reception and check-in. You will then be directed to park your car in the arrivals area at the rear of the hotel. Present your printed confirmation or quote your booking reference and then hand in your car keys. Your car will be parked for you whilst you board the transfer bus to the terminal. Your car will be checked by our staff and timed digital photographs will be taken of any marks or damage.
Departure Procedures
On return, simply call our Cardiff Airparks office (01446 719 182) after you have passed the arrivals lounge to arrange delivery of your vehicle in front of the departures building.
Directions
Exit the M4 at Junction 33. Follow A4232 signposted Barry/Airport. Take the 1st exit off A4232 Signposted Barry/Cardiff Airport A4050/A48 Cardiff Centre. At A48 junction roundabout take 3rd exit signposted A4050 Barry/Airport. Next 6 roundabouts follow A4050 Barry/Airport. At the 7th roundabout take 2nd exit Barry/Airport A4050. Take 2nd exit at the 8th roundabout. At the 9th roundabout adjacent to the Petrol station take 2nd exit. When you reach the 10th roundabout take 1st exit signposted Cardiff Airport. The entrance to Airparks & Cardiff Days Inn is approximately 200m on the right hand side. The postcode for satellite navigation systems is CF62 3BT.
Transfers
Transfers operate 24 hours. You should normally allow 30 minutes to check in and transfer to the Airport. During the morning and afternoon busy periods you should allow more time to compensate for traffic delays. Please note that between the hours of 0230 and 0300 there will be a break in the transfer and car delivery service. The next bus will run at 0300 hrs.
Information
Airparks are unable to carry bikes, surfboards, canoes or other large objects which do not fit onto luggage racks on their buses. If you are bringing large items with you we suggest you drop them off at the airport before parking your car. Remember to check beforehand that your airline will accept them for carriage. Please note that this is parking at Airparks serving Cardiff Airport, not the on-site parking at the airport. During the period of May - October your car may be moved to another secured site close by, owned and operated by Airparks. If your car is parked for longer than the booked stay, you can be charged for the additional time on departure. This is charged at the car park's standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays.
