Arrival Procedures
Drive up to the entry barrier of the car park where your car registration number will be read and recognised. A ticket will be printed showing your registration and the barrier will lift. Proceed to park your car and obtain a transfer to the airport. Please note that if you have not entered your vehicle registration, this will prolong the time spent for your car park check in. If you experience any difficulties on arrival, please press the call button for assistance. It may help if you have your booking confirmation to hand.
Departure Procedures
Upon your return to the parking compound, drive your vehicle up to the exit barrier. Insert the ticket that was issued on entry to the car park and the barrier will open and you may proceed out of the car park. Should the need arise, please present your booking confirmation and entry ticket to a parking attendant who will assist in your exit. If you experience any difficulties, please press the call button for assistance.
Directions
Southampton airport is just off junction 5 of the M27. The M27 can be reached directly from the east, via the M3 from the north and London and the A36 and A31 from the west. This page gives directions on how to reach Southampton Pink Elephant On Airport parking from the M27. Come off the M27 at junction 5 onto the A335 signposted for the airport. At the first mini roundabout take the second exit, heading into the airport. The second roundabout you come to will have a model airplane on it. Take the first exit on this roundabout, heading onto Mitchell Way. Follow Mitchell Way over the next roundabout, heading for Long Stay parking. The Pink Elephant Long Stay car park is at the end of Mitchell Way, just past the end of the runway. The postcode for satellite navigation systems is SO18 2NL.
Transfers
Every 8-10 minutes 24hrs. On your return wait outside the front of the terminal building to be transferred back to your car.
Information
If you are parking for less than 5 days it can be cheaper not to pre-book. Please note that parking charges are calculated in periods of 24 hours from the time you arrive at the car park until the time you depart. If your actual stay is longer than your booked stay, you will be charged extras on departure at the car park's standard daily rate. No refund will be issued for part used stays and any additional time will be charged at the local gate rate.
